Led by a pair of first-places by freshman
Julie Abrigonde (pictured; photo by Kip Yoshimura) , the Pacific University men's and women's swimming teams competed against Willamette at the Forest Grove Aquatic Center.
Abrigonde was victorious in the 200-yard freestyle (2:04.13) and 200-yard butterfly (2:20.63), plus teammate
Lauren McWilliams was second in the 200-yard butterfly (2:26.25) and 500-yard freestyle (6:05.11). The Boxers' also picked up a pair of runner-up finishes with
Phoebe Pratt in the 100-yard freestyle (1:05.70) and
Julia Crumb in the 200-yard breaststroke (2:44.21)
On the men's side,
Woodey Greer was second in the 100-yard freestyle (52.04) and third in the 50-yard freestyle (25.00). Plus,
Ethan Hunter was third in the 500-yard freestyle (5:29.10).
Next, the Boxers will host Pacific Lutheran on Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Forest Grove Aquatic Center.
