"I thought this was a great tune-up for the men coming off a year hiatus from competition. We were not at our best but Portland State is the best team we'll see all season. Overall I'm happy with how everyone performed and showed up to compete. I'm looking forward to see the guys back on the match court in a few weeks against PLU. Shout out to
Sean Murphy for his performance against a very tough competitor at PSU. Another shout out to the Murata's. They came out firing on all cylinders in doubles and pulled out a great win in doubles," said Head Coach,
Pete Yellico about his teams performance in the season opening competition.
Boxers will embark on Northwest Conference play for their next competition which is slated for Saturday, March 6th at Pacific Lutheran.
