Boxers Conclude Their Trip to Texas

Box Score RICHARDSON, Tex.- The Pacific University women's soccer team finished their trip to Texas with a tough test when they faced a talented UT-Dallas squad as the Boxers would fall 2-0 to the Comets.

The two teams went into halftime scoreless but UT-Dallas scored twice in the final 45 minutes to pick up the victory.

The Comets were quite impressive on their home turf, holding the advantage in shots (15-3). Pacific earned more corners on the day, tallying three in the contest while holding the hosts to just two.

UT-Dallas opened the scoring in the 48th minute when Sofia Munoz got on the scoresheet. The Comets doubled their lead in the 71st minute and would see out the win after some solid defending.
