FOREST GROVE, Ore.- Pacific kept it close in the first half against a talented East Texas Baptist team but the Tigers caught fire in the final 20 minutes to earn the 87-59 victory to close the Ken Schumann Classic.
ETBU moved the ball well and were able to find a multitude of open looks, posting a field goal percentage of 62.5%.

Cattell knocked down a pair of three-pointers to open the scoring in the early minutes to spark a quick 8-1 run. ETBU cut the deficit to one point but baskets from
Antoine Stitt, Lucas Winkler, and Bolger allowed the Boxers to restore their seven-point advantage.
Cattell connected on another three ball to continue his hot shooting but the Tigers managed to hang around after Pacific entered a scoring drought over three minutes. Winkler finally ended the drought with his layup in transition and Pacific took a three-point lead into the break.
ETBU opened the second half with a 13-0 scoring run in less than two minutes, going 4-for-4 from the field and 2-for-2 from three to take a double-digit lead. The Tigers couldn't seem to miss as they went an astounding 18-of-23 in the second half. Bolger was 5-of-6 for 10 points in the last 20 minutes, but the visitors had already built a sizable lead behind Aaron Gregg's 16 second-half points to seal the 87-59 win.
Kevin Charles led all scorers with 27 points on the night, making 12 of his 15 attempts from the field. Gregg finished with 20 points for the Tigers.
