INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.- Pacific baseball will head down to Orange, California for the NCAA West Regional Championship hosted by Chapman University at Hart Park.

The Boxers won the Northwest Conference tournament on April 24 to earn the automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament. Pacific will face three teams from the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) in the regional tournament.
Nationally-ranked Chapman received an at-large bid and will host the Boxers in the first game of the weekend. Two-seed Pomona-Pitzer also enters the national tournament through Pool C while three-seed Cal Lutheran captured the SCIAC Postseason Tournament Championship to notch automatic qualification.
The winner of the regional will advance to the Super Regionals held on May 27-28, where they will face the winner of LaGrange (GA) and Centenary (LA) for a spot in the College World Series.
Pacific takes on hosts Chapman at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 20 to open the weekend. A preview of all four teams in the tournament will be coming later this week on GoBoxers.com
