McMINNVILLE, Ore. – Pacific men's basketball lost 68-53 on Friday night in McMinnville against Linfield.
The Wildcats controlled the glass outrebounding the Boxers 42-29 while also shooting 48% compared to the 32% that the Boxers shot.

- Jacob Bolger was the only Boxer to reach double-digits finishing the game with 10 points.
- Truman Young grabbed a team high four rebounds in the loss.
- Lucas Winkler handed out five assists while playing 37 minutes in the contest.
How It Happened
It was a slow first two minutes for either side as Linfield broke the scoreless drought converting a layup. With Linfield winning by one, the Boxers went on a 9-1 run to take an early 12-4 lead. Following an
Isaiah Africano made free throw which gave the Boxers a 15-11 lead, both teams would suffer another two-minute scoring drought. The two teams would trade buckets for the rest of the half as Pacific held a narrow 30-27 lead at the halftime break.
Opening the second half, the hosts would shrink the deficit to zero as they tied the game at 34 with 16:11 remaining. It was all Linfield over the next nine minutes as they opened up a 14-point lead following a 20-6 run. They would never look back from there as they cruised to a 68-53 NWC win that splits the season series with the Boxers.
