PORTLAND -- A week after destroying Portland Bible at home in the Ken Schumann Classic, the Boxers did pretty much the same in the rematch on the road, winning 102-32 Saturday to improve to 3-2 on the season.
Pacific finished just two points shy of tying the school record for largest margin of victory of 72 points set in 1996 against Multnomah.
Lucas Winkler had an efficient 16 points, seven rebounds, seven assists and four steals in 21 minutes to lead the Boxers.
Jake Blazona finished with 15 points and five steals.
Drew Gumin added 14 points and three rebounds.
Eighteen players saw action for the Boxers, who combined to shoot 49.3 percent from the field. Pacific had 44 bench points.Â
The Boxers never trailed in the game, jumping out to a 10-0 lead. Pacific led 49-10 at halftime.Â
Next, the Boxers open Northwest Conference play on Friday, Dec. 1 at Whitman.Â
