LONGVIEW, Tex. --
Devin Fortune and
Lucas Winkler both recorded a double-double to lead Pacific to a 92-86 victory at LeTourneau University Saturday afternoon.
Fortune finished with a team-high 29 points and 10 rebounds. Winkler added 16 points, 10 assists and five rebounds.
The Boxers shot 50 percent from the field, including 40.7 percent from behind the 3-point arc.Â
Zachary Bates had 10 points and six rebounds in the win.
Trailing 46-43 at halftime, Pacific took the lead, 62-59, on a
Brenden Lapierre 3-pointer with 13:27 remaining in the game and never trailed again.
The Boxers largest lead in the second half was six points.
Next, Pacific will play its first home game since Nov. 18. The Boxers host Northwest Indian College on Dec. 28 at 4 p.m. inside the Stoller Center.Â
