FOREST GROVE, Ore.- Entering the 2023 season with a dedication to building a strong culture coupled with a technical
emphasis, the Boxer Rowing team aims to field the fastest boat in program history. Head Coach
Charlotte Copp continues to develop this year's roster in preparation to ultimately host the Northwest
Conference Championships at Lake Vancouver, Washington on April 23rd.
"The team and I are very excited for the racing season this spring," Coach Copp said. "There is an
incredibly welcoming and supportive environment with this team that creates a culture that encourages
learning and challenging yourself."

Chloe Williams (Merlin, OR) returns as one of the top performers and technical leader for
the Varsity 8, and will be joined in the boat by Junior

Morgan Hansen (Hillsboro, OR) makes the transition to coxswain after competing in a Varsity 8
seat a year ago, and is tasked with holding the rowers to a high standard while supporting them to be
their best.
"This current varsity squad will be the fastest crew that Pacific has ever had, and I can't wait to see all of
their hard work pay off on the water," Copp added.
Along with Varsity 8 preparation, the Boxers look to develop strong 4 Plus boats, as well as, competitive
Doubles to compete at the final event of the year, the Western Intercollegiate Rowing Association
Championship at Lake Natoma in Sacramento on April 29th.
The Boxer Rowing team opens the spring competition season at the Logger Invite on March 11th.
