VANCOUVER, Wash. — The Pacific women's rowing team finished third overall on Sunday at the 2024 Northwest Conference Championships on Lake Vancouver.
The Boxers varsity eight boat charged down the 2,000-meter race course in 7 minutes, 58.03 seconds, finishing third behind crews from champion Puget Sound (7:19.60) and runner-up Lewis & Clark (7:30).
Pacific's
First Moon Venecia and
Brooke Fritzler were two of eight NWC rowers voted to the All-Conference team.
Pacific's Charlotte Copp was named Northwest Conference Coach of the Year.
Pacific closes out the racing season next weekend in Sacramento, California at the Western Intercollegiate Rowing Association Championships.
