TACOMA --
Sydney Gray scored a season-high 21 points as Pacific cruised to a 59-44 victory at Pacific Lutheran Saturday afternoon.
Gray added seven rebounds, two assists, two steals and a block as the Boxers improved to 5-1 in the Northwest Conference.
Brilie Kovaloff had 16 points, seven rebounds, three assists and two steals.
Rilee Price added nine points and three steals in the win.
After a slow start, Gray knocked down a 3-pointer to give Pacific a 10-7 lead at the end of the first period and the Boxers never trailed again.
Tied 36-36 with 8:12 remaining in the game, Gray made a layup to again give Pacific the lead. The bucket started a 16-6 run to put the Boxers up 10 points, 52-42, with 3:32 to go. Pacific then closed the game on a 7-0 run.
Next, the Boxers play at Linfield on Friday, Jan. 19.
