Boxers rout Nebraska Wesleyan for first win of the season

COLORADO SPRINGS -- Colo. -- With four players scoring in double digits, the Pacific women's basketball team rolled to a 94-67 victory over Nebraska Wesleyan Saturday.

The Boxers closed the first quarter on a 9-0 run to take a 25-21 lead and never trailed again. Leading 60-51, Pacific outscored the Prairie Wolves 34-16 in the fourth period to put the game away.

The 94 points are the most the Boxers have scored since defeating Walla Walla 94-39 on Dec. 3, 2013. 

Shaade Williams finished with 17 points and three rebounds to lead Pacific.

Brookelynn Burke had 16 points, seven rebounds, three assists and two steals. Jasmine Olivar recorded 16 points, six rebounds, five assists and two steals. 

Emily Holsan added 14 points and six rebounds in the victory.

Next: Pacific will host Concordia (Texas) Friday at 6 p.m. in the Ken Schumann Classic.
