AUSTIN, Tex. -- The Pacific men's basketball team closed out non-conference play with a Texas-sized win.
The Boxers defeated Concordia 73-51 Monday afternoon.Â
Senior
Devin Fortune led Pacific with 23 points, four rebounds and two blocks in just 24 minutes. Senior
Lucas Winkler added 11 points, eight rebounds and five assists.
With Pacific trailing 16-13, Fortune and
Wilfrid Nado made back-to-back 3-pointers to put the Boxers on top for good with 11:33 remaining in the first half.
Pacific stretched its lead to 26 points in the second half.
The Boxers went 1-1 in the Concordia Classic after falling to Nebraska Wesleyan 85-70 on Sunday.Â
Fortune had 11 points and eight rebounds against Nebraska Wesleyan.
Anthony Gehring added 11 points off the bench.
Pacific finished 5-4 in non-conference play.
Next: The Boxers host Linfield (3-6) on Friday  at 6 p.m. in their Northwest Conference opener.Â
