Pacific certainly looked like a Northwest Conference tournament team.
The Boxers tipped off conference play Friday night with a convincing 91-72 victory over Linfield.
Pacific took the lead, 7-6, on a
Jake Blazona 3-pointer with 17:07 remaining in the first half and never trailed again.
The Boxers stretched their advantage to 14 points at halftime and led by as many as 23 in the second half.
Blazona finished with 15 points, nine assists, five rebounds and three steals to lead Pacific.
Devin Fortune had 15 points and six rebounds.
Lucas Winkler, who entered the game nine assists away from tying the school record, finished with eight to go along with nine points, seven rebounds and three steals.
Zachary Bates added 11 points off the bench in the victory.
Next: Pacific plays at Lewis & Clark in Portland on Saturday at 4 p.m. The Pioneers (5-5) defeated Willamette 76-55 back on Dec. 6 in their NWC opener.
