SALEM -- Pacific will have its first winning season since 2013-14.
The Boxers guaranteed that Tuesday with a convincing 97-75 victory at Willamette to improve to 13-9 overall with three games remaining.
With its highest scoring first half of the season, Pacific led 58-41 at intermission. After Willamette cut the Boxers lead to single digits, 69-60, with 10:22 remaining, Pacific answered with a 13-0 run to finish off the Bearcats.
The Boxers shot 50.8 percent (32-for-63) from the field.
Lucas Winkler had 22 points, six rebounds, five assists and two steals to lead Pacific.
Wilfrid Nado added 18 points and two rebounds off the bench.
Jake Blazona finished with 16 points, seven rebounds, five assists and three steals.
Devin Fortune had 10 points and two rebounds.
The Boxers, who improved to 7-6 in the NWC, have won three games in a row and five of their last six.
Next, Pacific hosts Pacific Lutheran on Friday at 8 p.m. inside the Stoller Center.
