Behind a second quarter offensive explosion, Pacific cruised to a 73-44 victory over Pacific Lutheran Friday night inside the Stoller Center.
Leading 19-15 after the first quarter, the Boxers scored 28 points in the second period to take a commanding 47-25 lead into halftime.
Pacific shot 70.59 percent from the field in the second quarter, making 12 of 17 shots. The Boxers finished the game shooting 50.8 percent from the floor.
Pacific expanded its lead to 33 points, 66-33, with 24 seconds remaining in the third quarter.
Sydney Gray finished with 14 points, three rebounds, two assists and two steals to lead the Boxers.
Brilie Kovaloff had 12 points, five assists and three rebounds. Pacific also got 25 points from its bench in the win.
The Boxers snapped a three-game losing streak and improved to 14-8 overall and 10-4 in the Northwest Conference.
Next, Pacific hosts Lewis & Clark on Friday, Feb. 16 and will then celebrate senior night Saturday, Feb. 17 against Linfield.Â
