NEWBERG, Ore. -- Pacific's young men's tennis team kept its tradition alive of playing in the Northwest Conference Championships, reaching the postseason tournament for the 13th straight season.
But the Boxers couldn't pull off the upset of No. 1 George Fox, falling 5-0 Saturday in the semifinals.
The Bruins swept all three doubles matches and then won in straight sets at No. 2 and 6 singles to secure the win and advance to the finals.
George Fox then defeated No. 2 Whitman 5-1 Sunday to win the 2024 NWC Men's Tennis Championship.
