The postseason awards keep coming in for
CJ Colyer.
The Pacific senior was named to two NCAA Division III All-America teams this week -- ABCA/Rawlings and D3baseball.com.
A Second Team selection by both organizations, Colyer hit .357 with 23 home runs, 50 RBIs, 20 stolen bases and 56 runs for the Boxers this season.
The honors come after Colyer was voted the 2024 Northwest Conference Baseball Player of the Year.
The
2024 ABCA/Rawlings NCAA Div. III All-America teams were announced at the Opening Ceremony of the NCAA Div. III College World Series Thursday night in Eastlake, Ohio.
The ABCA/Rawlings All-America teams are selected by members of the ABCA All-America committees. ABCA/Rawlings All-Region First Team selections, which were announced Tuesday, were eligible for All-America honors.
The Chair of the ABCA NCAA Div. III All-America & Coach of the Year Committee is Paul Hesse of the University of Mount Union. Also on the committee are Justin Beach (SUNY Brockport), Brian Casey (U.S. Coast Guard Academy), Dean Glus (The College of New Jersey), Dan Gomez (Western New England University), Ray Hedrick (Randolph-Macon College), Luke Johnson (North Park University), Scott Laverty (Chapman University), Yogi Lutz (Alvernia University) and Kevin Tomasiewicz (University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh).
The ABCA All-America team was first recognized in 1949 and now includes nine divisions: NCAA Divisions I, II and III, NAIA, NJCAA Divisions I, II and III, Pacific Association Division, and high school.
A total of 1,087 players were nominated for the
17th annual D3baseball.com All-America team.
