MCMINNVILLE – The Pacific football team outgained Linfield in the first half.
But two costly interceptions doomed any chance of coming away with the Northwest Conference victory as the Boxers fell 23-6 on the road Saturday afternoon.
Leading 10-3 at halftime, the Wildcats took control of the game with a 41-yard touchdown pass on their first possession of the second half.
Pacific kicker
Isaac Ahmed scored the Boxers only points of the game on field goals of 27 and 23 yards.
Pacific was held to 166 yards of total offense, including only 29 yards on the ground on 27 carries. The Boxers finished with three turnovers.
Riley Camarillo had six receptions for 66 yards to lead the offense.
Linebacker
Rylan Ma'ae recorded 10 solo tackles.
Since 2010, the Boxers are 0-15 against Linfield. With the loss, Pacific dropped to 1-4 overall and 0-2 in conference play.
Next: Pacific travels to Tacoma, Wash. next Saturday to take on Pacific Lutheran at 1 p.m.
