The Pacific men's basketball team celebrated its first win of the 2025-26 season Friday night, dominating Northwest Indian College 115-84 in the Ken Schumann Classic.
After the Eagles made a 3-pointer to get within 27-26 with 11:15 remaining in the first half, Pacific answered with a 10-0 run to begin to take control of the game. The Boxers, who shot 61.5 percent from the field in the first half, then extended their lead to 27 points, 64-37, at halftime.
Northwest Indian never got closer than 21 points of Pacific in the second half. The 115 points are the most Pacific has scored in game since defeating Northwest Indian College 119-71 on Dec. 28, 2023.
Four different Boxers scored in double digits. Junior
Anthony Hrboka led all scorers with 24 points to go with six assists and three rebounds. Junior
Ryder Mackay had a career-high 17 points and four rebounds. Junior
Max Vacco recorded 12 points and four assists. Senior
Lucas Gray added 10 points, four rebounds, three assists and five steals.
Pacific shot 54.2 percent from the field, including 40.6 from 3. The Boxers outrebounded Northwest Indian 50-30.
