The Pacific men's basketball team handed visiting Northwest Indian College a Black Friday beatdown.
The Boxers shot 51.1 percent from the field, including 43.9 from 3 to roll to a 127-79 victory in the Stoller Center.
The 127 points are the most Pacific has scored since putting up 155 against Greenville University to tip off the 2021-22 season.Â
Anthony Hrboka only needed 24 minutes to match his career-high of 30 points. The Pacific junior, who made 11 of 15 shots, including 7 of 11 3-pointers, also had five assists, three rebounds and two steals in the blowout victory.Â
Seventeen different played scored for the Boxers. Six reached double-digits.
Lucas Gray had 16 points, three assists, three steals and two rebounds.
Brody Baumgartner had 10 points, eight rebounds and three steals in just 12 minutes.
Ryder Mackay added 10 points, five rebounds and two assists.Â
Off the bench,
Jaren Brown had 10 points, five rebounds and three assists.
Jett Birdsall added 10 points and three assists.
Max Vacco flirted with a triple-double, finishing with nine points, nine rebounds and seven assists.
Pacific never trailed in the game. The Boxers opened up a 10-point advantage, 24-14, with 12:12 remaining in the first half. Pacific extended its lead to 26 points by halftime, 61-35. The Boxers, who led by as many as 53 points in the second half, hit the 100-point mark on a Hrboka 3-pointer with 10:31 remaining in the game.Â
