The Pacific softball team finished its Northwest Conference opening series strong, scoring three runs in the fifth inning and four more in the sixth to defeat Puget Sound 7-1 Sunday afternoon.

Peyton Davis pitched all seven innings to earn the win in the circle. The Pacific freshman allowed six hits and one run.Â

The Boxers recorded 11 hits in the final game.
Kayla Kodani was 2-for-3 and scored two runs.Â

Rylie Kihara and
Kaimalino Ingram were both 2-for-4 with an RBI at the plate.
Libby Hardee was 1-for-3 with three RBIs.
Chloe Knepp and
Carli Zanassi each doubled in the victory.

Pacific went 3-1 against the Loggers. After splitting the first two games on Saturday, the Boxers swept Puget Sound on Sunday.Â
