Holding Lewis & Clark without a field goal for the final 10-plus minutes, the Pacific men's basketball team nearly erased a 13-point second half deficit. But the River Otters went 4-for-5 from the free throw line in the final 29 seconds to hold on for a 70-65 victory.

After Lewis & Clark made a layup to extend its lead to 65-52 with 10:22 remaining, the River Otters did not make another field goal the rest of the night, going 0-for-11 from the field. 

Pacific went on a 13-1 run to get within 66-65 with 1:21 to go but missed two game-tying 3-pointers in the final 16 seconds.

Senior Brody Baumgartner posted a double-double of 14 points and 11 rebounds. Junior Anthony Hrboka had 15 points, six rebounds and four assists. Junior Ryder Mackay and senior Lucas Gray each added 13 points.

The Boxers dropped to 1-3 in the Northwest Conference, with the three losses coming by a combined 11 points.
