SALEM – The Pacific men's tennis team opened Northwest Conference play Saturday with a 6-1 road victory at Willamette.
 
After dropping the doubles point, the Boxers dominated singles play, winning all six matches.
 
At 2-6 singles, Alexander Kinoshita, Jonathan Nguyen, Dawson Hose, Lucas Fuhrmann and Steele Toguchi all won in straight sets. 
 
After dropping the first set 2-6, Joshua Dela Cruz stormed back, winning both the second and third set 6-2 to complete the Pacific sweep at singles.
 
Kinoshita and Toguchi won 6-2 at 2 doubles.
 
Next: The Boxers travel to Tacoma Sunday to take on Puget Sound.
