GIG HARBOR, Wash. –
Abby Surowiec homered to center field in the top of the second inning of Game 1 and it was all Pacific from there as the Boxers swept Puget Sound 6-0, 10-1 Monday morning in a makeup doubleheader.

With the two victories, Pacific improved to 3-1 in the Northwest Conference and 8-2 overall, already matching last season's win total.

Game 1

Kimberly Ray, who finished 2-for-3 with a walk, three runs and two RBIs, put the final nail in the coffin with a two-run homer to left field in the top of the sixth inning.Â

Surowiec and
Libby Hardee also had two hits in the victory.

In the circle,
Kiara Baba shut out the Loggers over 5 ½ inning, allowing four hits and recording seven strikeouts to earn the win.Â

Game 2
Â
Hardee got the Boxers off to a fast start with a two-run homer to right field in the top of the first inning.
Â
Pacific added a run in the third, six in the fourth and one more in the fifth in a five-inning, run-rule victory.
Â
Jordan Ingram was 3-for-4 with a run and two RBIs. Hardee finished 2-for-4 with two runs and three RBIs.
Chloe Knepp also drove in two runs.Â

Bailey Farrimond earned the win in the circle, holding Puget Sound to four hits and one run through four innings.
