TACOMA, Wash. – The Pacific women's lacrosse team defeated Pacific Lutheran 5-3 Friday to earn its first Northwest Conference win.
The Boxers never trailed as senior
Sarah Quade put Pacific ahead 1-0 with 9:35 remaining in the first period. Tied 2-2 at halftime,
India Cartwright put the Boxers on top for good with 2:49 left to play in the third quarter on an assist from Quade.
Quade added her second goal of the game with 3:31 remaining.
Ellena Willingham also scored two goals.
India Cartwright had a goal and an assist in the win. Pacific goalie
Jocelyn Taylor recorded six saves.
Erin Casey had six ground balls.
Next: The Boxers play at Puget Sound on Saturday at 1 p.m.
