TACOMA, Wash. – The Pacific lacrosse team has doubled its win total from last season.
The Boxers defeated Puget Sound 18-13 on Saturday to improve to 8-6 overall and 2-4 in the Northwest Conference.
The eight wins are the most for Pacific since finishing 10-4 in 2016.
Pacific jumped out to a 5-1 lead and held a 7-3 advantage at halftime. After the Loggers battled back to tie the game at 9-9 with 5:47 remaining in the third quarter, Jasmyn Zimmerman and India Cartwright scored back-to-back goals in under a minute to put the Boxers ahead for good.
Cartwright scored a career-high six goals in the win. Ellena Willingham added four goals, while Erin Casey recorded three goals, three ground balls and two draw controls.
The Boxers have now won three straight against Puget Sound.
Next:Â Pacific travels to Willamette on Wednesday at 6 p.m. The Boxers will then wrap up the 2026 season and celebrate senior day on Saturday, April 25, against Lewis & Clark.
