Riding high from the emotions of senior day, the Pacific lacrosse team raced out to a three-goal lead.
But visiting Lewis & Clark evened the match late in the second period and then controlled the second half to hand the Boxers a 16-7 Northwest Conference loss.
Pacific finished the 2026 season 8-8 overall and 2-6 in conference play.
India Cartwright and
Ellena Willingham each scored twice to give the Boxers a 4-1 lead with 10:55 remaining in the second quarter.
After the River Otters tied the game at 4-4, Willingham struck again to put Pacific on top 5-4 with 2:41 to go. But Lewis & Clark again evened the score with 30 seconds remaining. The River Otters, who won 19 of 25 draw controls, then opened the third quarter on a 5-0 run to take control of the match.
Willingham and Cartwright each finished with three goals, while Willingham added six ground balls.
Playing her final game for Pacific, senior Sarah Quade recorded five draw controls, three ground balls, and three caused turnovers. Quade made her school-record 64th start for the Boxers.
