Boonta shines as Pacific women finish fifth at NWC Spring Classic

LAKEWOOD, Wash. – The Pacific women's golf team finished fifth at the 2026 Northwest Conference Spring Classic.

Playing Saturday and Sunday at Oakbrook Golf Club, the Boxers posted a two-round score of 654. Pacific sat in third place after an opening-round 318 but dropped to fifth after shooting 336 in the second round.

George Fox won the team championship with a 610, edging runner-up Whitworth's 621.

Individually, Pacific junior Bead Boonta placed third overall with a 152. Lewis & Clark's Ahika Jani earned low medalist honors with a 147. Pacific junior Kayla Speer finished tied for 14th with a two-round score of 161. Freshmen Faith Sampson and Brynn Yonemori carded rounds of 171 and 175, respectively.

Boxer men finish ninth

The Pacific men's golf team placed ninth at the NWC Spring Classic.

Linfield (579) and Whitman (587) battled for the team championship.

Freshman Ray Blas and junior Ryan Murray led the Boxers, each shooting a 152 to tie for 22nd overall. Linfield's Douglas Bailey took home low medalist honors with a 139.

Next: Pacific will host the NWC Championships on April 18–19 at Pumpkin Ridge.
