SALEM, Ore. – The Pacific women's golf team opened the fall season by finishing second at the Bearcat Invitational.
 
Competing Saturday and Sunday at Salem Golf Club, the Boxers shot a two-round score of 646. 
 
Pacific sophomore Faith Sampson finished fourth overall, shooting a 159 over the two days. 
 
Senior Bead Boonta, who made her first career hole-in-one on Saturday, carded a 160 to place fifth. Sophomores Brynn Yonemori and Mielle Kavran tied for sixth with a 161.
 
Next: The Boxers will compete in the Pacific Lutheran Invite on Sept. 28-29.
