Corvallis, McMinnville Ore. – Pacific Track and Field was split between two meets. Half of the Boxers traveled to Oregon State University to compete at the Oregon State High Performance meet while the rest of the team traveled to Linfield University to compete in the Linfield Open. During both meets there were two All-Time Top Ten Performances and other notable moments.
Top Performers
Freshman
Noel Gutierrez competed in the Men's Discus Throw at Saturday's competition in McMinnville. Gutierrez crushed his previous personal record by throwing 48.61m. Gutierrez's performance placed him second in the Men's Discus competition, as well as moved him to #2 on the All-Time Top Ten list. Gutierrez's teammate, freshman
Shaeli Sikes, also placed second in the Women's Discus throw with a throw of 36.04m.

Emily Sproul comments on Gutierrez's performance, saying, "It's great to see these bigger numbers finally. Noel has worked and waited all season for this. Now we look to continue that momentum through the last chance meets, and hopefully get a spot at nationals!"
Freshman
Cadence Schedlbauer also placed second in the Women's Pole Vault. Schedlbauer matched her personal record of 3.53m. Following Schedlbauer's performance, freshman
Matthew Gray competed in the Men's 4x100m Relay, Men's 100m Dash, and Men's 200m Dash. Gray placed first in all three events while running a new personal record of 11.03 in the 100m and a new collegiate record of 22.25 in the 200m.
Also on Saturday in Corvallis, sophomore
Maya Kaneshiro ran a new personal record of 13.05 in the Women's 100m Dash. Kaneshiro's time breaks her into the All-Top Ten list, now being #9 on the All-Time Top Ten list.
"It was a great weekend across both meets," said head coach
Ryan Huntersimms. "It has been an amazing season watching our athletes get to the point where they are at now. I am looking forward to carrying this momentum into the last few weeks of our outdoor season."
