The Blues (21-0, 12-0 NWC) shot an even 50 percent from the field in the game and forced 22 turnovers. With a balanced scoring attack, Whitman landed four players in double figures including Darne Duckett with 23, Joey Hewiit added 15, Trever Osborne scored 14 and Jaron Kirkley tacked on 11.
Whitman used a 19-0 first half run to gain a 24-point lead on the Boxers halfway through the first half and stretched their lead to 39. The Blues started the second half on a 15-4 run on the way to end the comeback hopes for the host Boxers.
Next, Pacific is back at home as they host Willamette University on Friday, Feb. 9 at 8 p.m.
