The Pacific University wrestling team edged Simpson University (Calif.) by a 30-24 margin during a neutral-site dual in Portland.
Four of the Boxers came away with wins by forfeit at 125 pounds, 141 pounds, 157 pounds and heavyweight. The other win on the day for Pacific came as
Kaleb Winebarger registered a pin at the 2:17 mark at 165 pounds.
Next, the Boxers will travel to Wheaton, Illinois for the prestigious Pete Wilson Invite where they will see a glimpse of the competition at the upcoming NCAA Division III Midwest Regional in Lacrosse, Wisconsin.
