McMinnville, Ore.- The Pacific University men's golf team competed over the weekend at the Wildcat Invite hosted by Linfield University at Michelbook Country Club. The Boxers tied for 5
th place for the event.
Tyler Bryant (Freshman/Olympia, WA) led the way for the Boxers with a two-day total of 159 (78-81). The first round score of 78 for Bryant was the lowest in his first four collegiate rounds.
Nathan Johnson (Freshman/Montesano, WA) came in with a two-day total of 161 earning him a tie for 19
th place finish in the 44-player field.
Kaleb Makimoto (Junior/Wailuku, HI) and
Matthew Zaback (Junior/Corvallis, OR) each earned a top-30 finish at the event.
