McMINNVILLE, Ore.- The Pacific University wrestling teams opened its season with a dual meet at Linfield on Thursday night. Both teams had some decent showings but the Wildcats managed to win both competitions.
 
Top Performers

• Joey Troyer won the first match of his Pacfic career, taking down Jacob Moore 8-2 in the 125 lb weight class.
• TJ Turner impressed in his first collegiate action, pinning Joel Nelson.
• Lucas Paschia also managed to pin his opponent in his first match in the Red and Black.
• K'den McMullin won by major decision over Jack Barrett (14-0).
