PORTLAND, Ore.- The Pacific men's tennis team was narrowly edged by Division I Portland State on Friday morning. The Boxers won two of the three doubles matches to earn one point, but the Vikings won four singles matches to snatch the 4-3 victory.
"It was a tough match today," said Interim Head Coach
Brian Jackson. "We started well in doubles, but had a lot of first-match jitters in singles, forcing us to fight from behind. It was a good opportunity for us to learn and get some experience. We are looking forward to getting back out there with a good Seattle opponent tomorrow at home."
