NEWBERG, Ore. - The Pacific men's tennis team fell to #16 George Fox on Sunday in the championship match of the NWC Tournament.
The Boxers were able to escape with one point in doubles play. The point was earned by
Quentin Gonzalez (Junior/Orange, CA) and
Aidan Rooney (Freshman/Mililani, HI).
With the Boxers trailing 2-1 at the conclusion of doubles play, the Boxers made every attempt to climb back into the match. The number one and number five singles matches were in a third set when play was halted due to the completion of three other matches which gave George Fox the required five points to claim the 5-1 victory.
