HILLSBORO, Ore.- Pacific men's tennis was well-represented in the conference awards after a hugely successful 2022 season.
 
Mason Tran (Freshman/Irvine, CA) was named Northwest Conference Freshman of the Year in addition to receiving First Team recognition, putting together quite the first-year campaign wearing the Red and Black. In singles, he finished the season ranked sixth in the West region and teamed up with Reyn Miyagawa (Senior/Kaneohe, HI) to land at fifth in doubles.
 
Miyagawa received First Team All-Conference recognition as he finished 15^th in singles after his impressive senior year. He made history by earning his 100^th career singles win, becoming the first in Pacific history to achieve the feat.
 
Quentin Gonzalez (Junior/Orange, CA) was also tabbed with First Team honors, making a huge impact in both singles and doubles throughout the season. The California native won five of his last six singles matches and 10 of his final 12 doubles matches.
 
Nicholas Koulisis (Freshman/Boca Raton, FL) closed his freshman season on a three-match win streak in singles, landing himself on Second Team All-Conference and he's joined by Joey Hu (Senior/Aiea, HI) who provided some excellent senior leadership, helping Pacific to the championship match for the second straight season.
