GENEVA, Ohio –
Dominic Funk of Pacific Track & Field traveled to Northeast Ohio for the NCAA Division III Track & Field Championships, competing in the men's javelin.

Funk was among 20 of Division III's top competitors at the national meet. With the top nine throws advancing to Friday, he finished 10
th (61.73m), just one spot away from qualification.
The junior delivered a foul throw in his first attempt before recording a throw of 58.33m in his second try. In his third and final throw, Funk tossed to 61.73m to place 10
th in the nation. He just narrowly missed ninth position as the next mark stood at 61.90m.
Funk still holds the school record in the event at 64.56m, which he posted George Fox Final Qualifier just a week ago.
