FOREST GROVE, Ore. – Pacific Volleyball collected its third consecutive win by sweeping Linfield on Wednesday night inside the Stoller Center.
The Boxers enjoyed a stellar night, hitting .280 as a team. Pacific was dominant on the defensive end with nine blocks while holding the Wildcats to a hitting percentage of .065.

How It Happened
The two teams would trade points to start the contest until the visitors built a two-point advantage (13-11) near the halfway point. The Boxers would then rally for six straight points, using two kills from Brown, to take a commanding lead. Linfield clawed within one, but Murphy slammed two consecutive kills to put Pacific back out in front. The Red and Black would eventually take the set 25-21.
In set two, it was another back-and-forth battle until Brown and Murphy rattled off a couple more kills each to propel Pacific to the 25-20 win.
The Boxers cruised in the third and final set, racing to a 13-6 lead to force a Linfield timeout. Brown continued her great performance by registering three consecutive kills before Murphy delivered the finishing blow, clinching the 3-0 sweep.
What It Means
The Boxers earn their third straight win, improving to 8-4 and 3-2 in NWC play. Pacific sits in fifth place, but are tied in the win column with the four teams in front, just a half game behind them.
