SALEM, Ore.- Pacific women's basketball dropped their second straight contest on Saturday with a 63 – 57 loss to Willamette.
The Bearcats were able to shoot an efficient 50% including shooting 60% in the second half to seal the game.

- Brilie Kovaloff had 16 points while also leading the team with 8 rebounds.
- Emily Holsan shot 2-5 from long range on the way to 14 points.
How It Happened
Pacific came out with a strong start to open the contest with a 13-2 run over the first five and a half minutes. Despite the fast start from the Boxers, they were held scoreless for the remaining of the quarter as they took a 13-9 lead to the quarter break.
Following the under-five minute media timeout in the second half the Boxers and Bearcats were tied at 17 apiece.
Rilee Price would cap off the final seconds of the first half with a pair of free throws to trail 24-23. In the first half the Boxers were perfect from the charity stripe going 4-4.
The teams traded buckets to start the second half before Willamette scored 5 unanswered points to take a six-point lead. The same lead would be maintained by the Bearcats at the end of the quarter as they lead 44-38.
Willamette opened up a 10-point lead over the first two minutes over the final quarter. The Boxers however were not going to through in the towel as they went on a 13-4 run to pull with in one. The hosts however never would fully relinquish the lead as they closed out the 63-57 win.
