TACOMA, WA.- The Pacific University women's lacrosse team dropped a hard-fought 10-9 decision to Puget Sound University on Saturday afternoon in Tacoma, WA in their last game of the season.

How It Happened
Mia White got things started for the Boxers, scoring back to back goals to open up the game. The Loggers found themselves within one with five minutes remaining in the first quarter before Porkorny would find the back of the net in the final eighteen seconds of the quarter to extend their lead to two.
The Loggers would find a goal in the early minutes of the second frame before Porkorny would record her second goal of the day. The home team would find the equalizer with five minutes remaining in the quarter before each team would exchange a goal a piece in the final two minutes closing out the half tied at five.
The third quarter would continue to go back and forth, with goals from White and Cullen-Musengo but the Loggers would take advantage of two free-position shots to take the 9-7 lead into the final quarter.
After a quiet five minutes Puget Sound would score off another free position shot to reach double digits. With four minutes left, the Boxers would continue to fight and look for scoring opportunities when Cullen-Musengo slotted her third and fourth goal of the match but it wouldn't be enough to equalize, the Loggers held their lead to win 10-9.
