The Pacific women's basketball team snapped a four-game losing streak Wednesday with a 68-55 win over Santa Cruz.
After the Boxers raced out to a 12-4 lead, the Banana Slugs closed the first period on a 7-0 run to tie the game at 14-14.

Emily Holsan knocked down back-to-back 3-pointers to spark a Boxers 15-0 run.Â
Pacific opened the second half on a 6-0 run to take its biggest lead of the game, 41-24, with 7:09 remaining in the third period.
Santa Cruz twice got within six points of the Boxers in the fourth quarter but never any closer.
Pacific junior
Lindsay Barden scored 16 points to lead the Boxers. Holsan finished with 14 points and nine rebounds. Senior
Anya Henderson added 12 points and nine rebounds off the bench.
