The Pacific women's basketball team will enter Northwest Conference play on a two-game winning streak.
The Boxers defeated Vancouver Island 78-57 Sunday evening in their final game of 2024.
Pacific jumped out to a 21-12 lead in the first period. The Boxers led by as many as 11 points in the second quarter and 15 in the third.Â
Five different players scored in double digits for Pacific. Freshman
Jasmine Olivar finished with a career-high 16 points to go along with four rebounds and two assists.
Junior
Shaade Williams had 13 points and five rebounds. Freshman
Sydney Esperanza added 13 points and five rebounds. Freshman
Keiki McGee finished with 11 points, five rebounds and four assists. Senior
Emily Holsan scored 10 points and recorded eight steals.
The Boxers had 14 steals and scored 27 points off of Vancouver Island turnovers.Â
Pacific finished 4-5 in non-conference play.
