Pacific scored a season-high 16 goals, including 10 from senior
Hyland Cullen-Musengo, but it wasn't enough to keep up with visiting Linfield as the Boxers fells 24-16 Saturday afternoon at Hanson Stadium in Forest Grove.
The offensive explosion started early with Linfield scoring six goals in the first eight minutes. Cullen-Musengo got Pacific on the scoreboard with 6:48 remaining in the first quarter.
The Boxers trailed 7-3 at the end of the first period and 14-8 at halftime.
Down 22-13 with 6:50 remaining in the match, Pacific scored three straight goals to get within 22-16 but the Wildcats answered with two more goals in the final two minutes.

Jasmyn Zimmerman scored three goals in the loss. Senior
Devyn Davis had a goal and three assists. Sophomores
Sarah Quade and
Zannah Suehiro also pull the ball in the back of the net for the Boxers.

Sophie Sheppard each recorded six saves.
Next, Pacific travels to the Midwest for spring break to take on North Central and Concordia University Wisconsin Tuesday and Thursday before returning home to continue Northwest Conference play on Saturday, April 6 against Whitworth.
