TACOMA, Wash. -- Pacific lacrosse opened Northwest Conference play Wednesday afternoon with a 13-2 loss at Puget Sound.
The Loggers jumped out to a 5-0 lead before
Cameron Cabuco put Pacific on the scoreboard on an assist by
Devyn Davis with 7:55 remaining in the second quarter.
Puget Sound added four more goals to extend its lead to 9-1.
Diane Crets scored the Boxers second goal with 4:34 remaining in the third period. Pacific outshot the Loggers 35 to 10.
Pacific had five penalties in the game, including four yellow cards.
Next, the Boxers play at Willamette on Sunday, March 10.
