AURORA, Ore.— The Northwest Conference Championship stage was certainly not too big for
Bead Boonta.
The Pacific freshman followed a 77 on day one with a 79 on Sunday at Langdon Farms Golf Club to finish fourth overall out of 40 golfers. Boonta was named Women's Rookie of the Year and First Team All-Conference.
The Boxers shot a 670 to finish fourth in the team standings behind champion George Fox (615), Whitman (654) and Whitworth (657).
Led by low medalist Alison Takamiya (148), the Bruins had the top three golfers to run away with the team title.
Nikki Tabios carded a 166 to finish 12th for Pacific.
Avery Arnold and Brenda Castillo recorded a 172 and 176, respectively.
