WALLA WALLA, Wash. -- Pacific's 2024 lacrosse season came to an end Sunday with a 19-6 loss at Whitman.
The Blues raced out to a 10-0 lead at the end of the first quarter and led 12-0 beforeÂ
Jasmyn Zimmerman scored the first goal for the Boxers with 10:16 remaining in the second period.
A goal by
Hyland Cullen-Musengo with 2:18 remaining in the first half got Pacific within 13-2 at intermission.Â
The Boxers scored four straight goals to cut the deficit to 15-6 with 11:53 remaining in the match. But Whitman answered with four consecutive goals to end the contest.Â
Devyn Davis scored three goals to lead Pacific. Zimmerman had two goals.
The Boxers finished the 2024 season 2-14 overall and 0-12 in the Northwest Conference. Pacific's last NWC win, a 10-9 victory against Whitworth, came on March 25, 2023.Â
