TACOMA, Wash. -- The Pacific women's basketball team rallied to get within two points of Puget Sound with 4:58 remaining in the third period. But the Loggers answered with a 12-0 run to put the Boxers away 80-62 Friday night.
Pacific senior Emily Holson led the Boxers with 18 points and two rebounds. Junior
Shaade Williams had 14 points and five rebounds.Â
The Boxers had 24 bench points. Freshman
Jasmine Olivar scored 10 points in the loss.
Puget Sound shot 54.8 percent from the field, including making 7 of 13 3-pointers, while Pacific went 6-for-20 from 3 and shot 37.9 percent overall.
The Boxers dropped to 1-3 in the Northwest Conference and 5-8 overall.
Next: Pacific hosts Whitman (11-1, 3-0) on Friday. Jan. 17 at 8 pm. in the Stoller Center.
