The Pacific women's basketball team rolled to a 76-51 win over the University of Dallas Friday night in the Ken Schumann Classic.
Trailing 15-13 at the end of the first period, the Boxers outscored Dallas 16-5 in the second to take control of the game. The Crusaders did not score in the final 5:35 as the Boxers closed the first half on an 8-0 run.
Pacific continued to dominate in the third period, outscoring Dallas 22-11 to take a commanding 51-31 advantage entering the fourth.
Senior
Shaade Williams filled up the stat sheet, finishing with 19 points, eight rebounds, six steals and two assists. Freshman
Karina Franco had nine points, nine rebounds and four blocks. Junior
Brookelynn Burke added nine points off the bench.
Thirteen different players scored for the Boxers, who shot 46.3 percent from the field. Dallas shot just 24.3 percent, including 13.6 from 3.
Next: Pacific hosts Colorado College on Saturday at 6 p.m. in the Ken Schumann Classic.
